Funny, I keep thinking if I pinch myself and I will wake up and find out this has all been a really good dream. Definitely not a bad dream. I’ve been teaching for a long time and I still get chills when a whole new group of students show up in class and end with such glee in their faces and joy in their eyes. And, it happened again this morning, with four brand new students. Sweet!
It’s also the day I have set aside to pull together my thoughts and answers to the questions posed by an interview for a magazine. I am proud to find a master teacher, whom I value, has recommended me as a part of the conversation. Yes, I was pinching myself all week on that one too. More details on that as it unfolds – later.
Back to my Beginner students. You know it is reality when the one regular student in the room, sounds and looks like a commercial for the class; touting the benefits she has experienced, supporting the others with her own memories of “her first time,” and repeating the mantra of “after 10 sessions….”
It was a good morning.
Not a dream.
So after my own workout, I came back and ate a brownie! A little one. A sweet pinch of chocolate. It’s Valentine’s Weekend. The reality is I have chocolate all over the place!
