Feeling very powerful this morning waking with the realization that I was thrown from my bicycle and nearly missed a concussion just three months ago; completed the re-construction, design and personal hand-painting of the studio two month’s ago and in the “in-between” time have started knitting a full length sweater coat simultaneously with an intricate cowl. Feel so, Helen Reddy-ish. ee-he, can you hear me roar!
Not to mention I built and edited a few websites and created two more photo books while coaching and supporting the studio and clients finding their own roar of power and strength.
So I am not going to do this lame “year in review” thingy on FB or run back all the fabulous photos I took of the NYC skyline (’cause I have a gazillion of them) but I do take note that the Reddy song I mentioned was written the year I graduated from high school and while it came to mind with the phrase, “I Am Woman” and all the things that have transpired or transformed in the last few months, I have also noticed my conscious return – recently – to many of the natural basics of my yester-years. Saving those details of that for another post in the making, so for now…..
If I have to, I can do anything I am strong (Strong)
I think there may have been a bit of subconscious discussion about the leg bruising in the formulation of the wall painting. Why the hell else would I start with that P U R P L E paint???? You should have seen my leg.
I am Invincible (Invincible) I am Woman
And in between the painting and the leg healing, I continuted creating and “painting” with yarn in the creation of the colorFULL coat and cowl for next season. My plan is not to have any accidents in between.
